Global CEO of LGE Mr. Yong Nam Addresses the Company's Innovations and Future Plans in the Kingdom

Amman, Jordan : Global CEO of LG ElectronicsLG Electronics
, Mr. Yong Nam, recently paid a visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, tackling some major issues related to LGLG
plans and future projects. Among the main issues on the CEO's agenda were talks with the concerned entities on reaching cooperation possibilities. Within this context, Mr. Nam met with the CEO of Aqaba Development Company, Mr. Shadi Al Majali, to discuss the possibilities of collaboration and joint work to furnish Aqaba Developmental Projects, like "Ayla & Saraya" with the LGLG
'latest innovations which are on par with the demands of residents of these complexes, known for their stylish life. They also highlighted the possibility of forging strategic partnerships in the future.
Mr. Nam further suggested reaching agreements of collaboration with prospects interested in establishing LG Center for Research and Development Programs on mobile communications, which is meant to create a technically developed environment in the country and help advance the cause of the transfer of technology.
Another objective of his visit was the need to establish a professional training project through building an LGLG
Academy for Air Conditioners, which shall provide training programs on maintenance and repair of appliances; through such a project, the Company aims at upgrading the qualifications and skills of the local engineers and technicians. Commenting on the visit, Mr. Nam said: "I am really glad to have visited Jordan, and I hope that it will be a fruitful step towards mutual cooperation. LGLG
's strategy calls for expansion and diversification of investments within its affiliations. Having said that, LGLG
will be able to . harness all it's efforts and energy to support its companies and partners in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, aiming to strengthen the Jordanian economy and build a strong technological base".
