Bawabat Phase I work on schedule

has announced that construction work on Phase l of Bawabat Al Sharq is progressing as per schedule with 60 per cent of work on the project now achieved.BIDBID is the investment arm of Baniyas Sports Club and the project is a Dh3 billion mixed-use development in Abu Dhabi's Bani Yas region Phase l of Bawabat Al Sharq, which is due to be completed and delivered in December 2010, comprises 164 apartments and 56 villas.
Wael Tawil, Chief Executive Officer of Baniyas Investment and Development CompanyBaniyas Investment and Development Company, said: "We are moving ahead steadily with the objective of handing over the residential sector of Phase l in December 2010. "
Construction on the mall has now reached the 40 per cent completion mark and , the venue is scheduled for a opening in December this year as well.
The main contractor for Phase I is Target Engineering Construction CompanyTarget Engineering Construction Company, a EPC contractor owned by Arabtec Holdings.
