AGM to discuss several topics related to shareholders' benefits
Meeting's results to be announced by next week
, one of the leading Maritime and Shipping companies in the region, holds today, 4th March 2010, the third General Assembly Meeting (AGM) as well as the Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting in Dubai, with the attendance of the company's Board of Directors, Shareholders and the management.The AGM meeting will be discussing several topics related to 2009 yearend performance related to Shareholders' financial benefits. One of the major topics to be addressed will be the approval on the report of the company's Board of Directors on the activities for last year, as well as the approval on the audited financial statement for the financial year ending 31 December 2009.
Approvals will also include the distribution of 3% cash dividends of the share capital that is equivalent to 3 Fills per share for the fiscal year 2009.
In addition to the above, the meeting will be looking at the new elections of the Board of Directors members for the upcoming 3 years as well as the appointment of the auditors for the fiscal year 2010. This will include discharging the existing Board of Directors members and current auditors in order to proceed with the election process.
