DQG concludes training program on EFQM arbitrators' rehabilitation

(DQGDQG) concluded today its exclusive accredited training program to rehabilitate arbitrators in EFQM 2010 from the European Foundation for Quality Management according to the amended EFQM 2010, at Al Bustan Rotana in Dubai. As it is considered the first in UAE, the program is specialized in preparing arbitrators in organizational excellence according to the amended EFQM 2010. Accordingly, arbitrators will be able to evaluate their organizations as well as other organizations. On the other hand, they will be qualified for participating in the committees of arbitration in quality awards locally and internationally which are based on European standards of excellence model such as; Dubai Government Excellence Scheme and UAE Program for Government Excellence. Also, the private sector awards such as Dubai Quality Award and Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award are based on the same model.
The training program opens new horizons for the participants to rely on themselves in benchmarking according to the best practices.
Coordination for the program was accomplished by Mr. Ali Al Fadhlani, chairman of the benchmarking sub-group in DQGDQG and the director of business excellence at Jumeirah Group. Where Mr. Chris Hakes, and Mr. Jeoff Carter, management consultants and a staff members at EFQM, lectured at the program. It's worthy mentioning that both of them launched the European Excellence Model in 2003 and then made the necessary amendments to reach the updated European excellence model for 2010.
Mr. Al Fadhlani said: "Participants who pass the requirements of the program will be accredited as international arbitrators to the EFQM. They will also be able to get recognition from EFQM. In addition to publishing their names on the foundation's website as an accredited arbitrators authorized by the UAE."

Moreover, its basic principles aim to achieve sustainable excellence in all aspects of performance, which would connect between possibilities and results to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of organizations in the implementation of their strategies and goals". added Mr. Al Fadhlani.
The program discussed all the issues and updates came about on the EFQM 2010. Besides, it addressed the mechanisms and methods of arbitration in quality awards so as to ensure credibility and transparency through the evaluation and nomination.
Participants expressed their happiness for participating in such a training program, particularly as it conveyed the latest studies related to quality. They also appreciated the role of Dubai Quality GroupDubai Quality Group as it brought in such a program which was not available in the UAE and saved their time and efforts of traveling abroad and bear the high costs to complete its requirements.
