30% increase in number of participating companies interested in recruiting AUDAUDLoading... students and alumni

Dubai, February 24th 2010. The Career Services Office at the American University in DubaiAmerican University in DubaiLoading... (AUDAUDLoading...) is organized its annual Career Fair - Act Now on Monday, the 22nd of February, 2010, from 10:00a.m. Till 6:00p.m., at The AUDAUDLoading... Knights Arena in the University's Center Building.

This eagerly-awaited event is growing yearly as an increasing number of employers have come to realize the benefits of hiring AUDAUDLoading... graduates. The fair attracted more than 40 companies interested in recruiting AUDAUDLoading... students and alumni. As in previous years, the Career Fair was attended by major companies specializing in Finance and Banking, Marketing, Advertising, Management, Recruitment, Engineering, Visual Communication, Graphic Design and Information Technology.

Sue Hunter, AUDAUDLoading...'s Career Services Manager comments:

"The fair provides excellent opportunities for companies to connect with AUDAUDLoading... students and alumni to discuss and interview for both, current and future career-related employment and internship opportunities."

In his turn, Mr. Khamis Shuaibi, Director-General of the Department of Human Resources at UnileverUnileverLoading..., official sponsor of the Career Fair, saying:

"Our annual cooperation with the American University in DubaiAmerican University in DubaiLoading... is very important to us. The education the students receive at AUDAUDLoading... is the best and we look forward to assisting them into becoming great employees by providing them with internship and job opportunities".

Engineer Khalid Fahad Alhuzeim Vice President, Manager Recruitment Department, Riyadh Bank, official sponsor of the Career Fair commented:

"This is the second year we participate in the AUDAUDLoading... Career Fair as it gives us the opportunity to interact with graduates to discuss their employment". He added: "Last year, we employed six AUDAUDLoading... students and we are always looking to employ the biggest number of students".
