Doha and London, 07 February 2010 - BroadGroup TMT Ventures is delighted to announce the launch of the annual TMT Finance and Investment Middle East 2010 conference and Awards Ceremony with communications leader QtelQtelLoading... (Ticker: QTEL.QA) as Patron. The international networking event will take place again at the prestigious Sharq Village Hotel in Doha, April 26-27, 2010. (www.tmtfinance.com/me)

The event is the premier networking hub for senior executives in telecom operator, service provider and supplier organisations, private equity and investor firms, investment banks, legal advisers, and other financiers and professional intermediaries focused on the telecom, media and technology sectors.

"We are delighted that QtelQtelLoading... is once again acting as Patron of this event, and thereby facilitating this annual meeting for the Middle Eastern region," commented Dominic Lowndes, managing director at BroadGroup TMT Ventures. "The 2010 conference takes place at a critical time for telecom operators and advisers, and we expect senior level participation across all the segments the event addresses."

The programme for 2010 reflects the current investment drive by major telecommunication operators in the region, with sessions focused on Mergers and Acquisitions, Wireless Technology, Raising Finance and Investment Opportunities in Africa and Asia. Specialist sessions also include the Telecom Leadership Round Table, Mobile Broadband, Cloud Computing, Web 2.0, Mobile Payments, M-Health and Next Generation NBN Middle East.

Booze& Co will once again act as Conference Partner and Clifford Chance as M&A Adviser Sponsor for this year's event.

"Industry executives, TMT practitioners in finance and law firms strongly support the need to meet and debate the latest investment opportunities in emerging and mature markets," said Dominic Lowndes. "We have worked closely with our partners, and last year's speakers to expand the programme into areas that will focus on the most exciting business opportunities for 2010 and beyond."

BroadGroup TMT Ventures announces the event as it continues to expand its portfolio of Emerging Markets focused telecoms events following the success of the first TMT Finance Asia conference in Singapore in November 2009, complementing growth in the Middle East, and plans other specialist events in 2010.
