Varying Real Estate Market Underlines the need for Accurate Property Valuations
Dubai, UAE - February 3, 2010 - As end of year accounts are being closed, Landmark PropertiesLandmark Properties
has announced the launch of their new department, Landmark Valuations, which services corporate and private clients to give an accurate picture of the value of their holdings. Recognising the recent changes in the UAE's real estate market, Landmark Valuations will work closely with Landmark Advisory analysts to meet the needs of clients in the Middle East. has appointed Saeed Hashmi as Head of Valuations; a professional with considerable experience in the property sector having working for both client-side and consultancy companies. "In this rapidly changing property market in the UAE, our clients need to know the true value of their asset, whether it's for corporate or personal account records. We work closely with Landmark Advisory to access their transactional data which allows us to confidently advise clients of the value of their holdings." explained Hashmi.
"With the launch of the Valuation department, Landmark PropertiesLandmark Properties
is the only company in the region to have four licenses, which includes: Property Management, Advisory, Valuations and a RERA certification to conduct sales and brokerage," Hashmi continued.
Landmark's RICS-certified valuers use independent information compiled by Landmark Advisory, Landmark's research and consultancy division, to provide unbiased, reliable valuation consulting for all property types including residential, commercial, industrial, leisure and land.
"I am excited to join the Landmark team to launch the new Valuation service at this time as our clients have an immediate need for our assistance," continued Hashmi. "Our corporate clients have been keeping us busy as they close their books for the 2009 fiscal year and we have been valuing both single properties and entire portfolios for them as they seek certified valuations of their assets."
The Property Valuations team can carry out valuations for a number of reasons including: bank loans; balance sheets and company accounts; inheritance; purchases; stock market flotation; investment portfolio valuations; corporate strategy; and receiverships.
Saeed has a BSc Honours in Estate Management and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
