First iPhone Development Course in the Middle East Sold Out
Dubai - UAE: 8 November, 2009 - Signalling the region's massive interest in high-tech education, the SAE Institute today announced its inaugural short course on iPhone Development was delivered to a sell-out audience at the SIM expo's Social Media Forum in Dubai.

iPhone Applications are mini-programmes that help perform functions ranging from categorizing music to gathering medical data. Apple outsources from programmers around the world to develop their own applications and there are currently more than 50,000 available for download via Apple's online store.

SAE Institute, a world-wide post-secondary creative media educator with a branch in Dubai, hosted the course to fill what it sees as a growing hunger for creative media technology instruction in the region.

Marco Bettelli, Director - Business Development, SAE Group, said: "This course is a prime example of how technology can increasingly allow users to adapt personal devices for their own specific needs. The trick is removing the mystery from technology, which is what we do at SAE through our exceptional creative media programmes.

"Our global partnership with Apple allows us to consistently keep in step with the latest developments in technology. SAE Dubai is at the vanguard of new course development and working close with all our global partners we aim to continue to be ahead of the curve with all creative media education technologies."

The second edition of SIM, the fast growing trade show for the signage, imaging and media sectors was held late October, and showcased latest products, technology and solutions related to digital printing, digital signage, sign making, new media, and the graphic arts.

SAE Institute provides creative media education in four streams -Filmmaking, Animation, Audio Engineering and Multimedia.
