Kuwaiti-Syrian al-Jaz Group: Huge Housing Investments in Eastern Region |

Deir Ezzor - The investments undertaken by the Kuwaiti-Syrian al-Jaz investment group in the eastern city of Deir Ezzor have so far exceeded 4 billion S.P., said Director General of the Industrial City of Deir Ezzor Kaser Outhman.
This came during a meeting with the representatives of the investment group on Thursday, where currently implemented and subscribed projects were reviewed.
Kaser added that approximately 50 projects are being carried out by the group in the fields of chemicals, food, textiles and engineering.
Director General of al-Jaz group Rashid Abdul-Majid said that their plan for future includes launching Durat al-Khaleej group for real estate development, which will be setting up two huge housing projects in the eastern region. Al-Jaz group will also invest in oil services and agri-food factories.
The Kuwaiti-Syrian al-Jaz investment group was co-established in 2007 by Syrian and Kuwaiti partners, with the aim of developing the eastern area of Syria by building factories, cities and trade companies.
