Germinal Garcia appointed as General Manager for the pre-opening of the Salalah Marriott Resort in Oman.

Mirbat, Oman - 7 November 2009 - Germinal Garcia has been appointed as General Manager for the pre-opening of the Salalah Marriott Resort in Oman. He held several positions as Director of Sales & Marketing, Resident Manager and General Manager in Central & South America and Mexico including positions at the San Salvador Marriott, Guatemala City Marriott Hotel, JW Marriott Caracas Hotel as well as at the JW Marriott Cancun and Marriott Casa Magna Hotel. In 2007 Germinal won the Regional General Manager Sales Leadership Award for the Guatemala City Marriott Hotel. With nearly 25 years of hotel experience, Germinal feels "very honoured opening the first Marriott property in Oman".
