AMMAN (JT) - Wednesday's trading amounted to JD21.5 million spread over 19.7 million shares traded through 10,599 transactions.
The share price index closed at 2,560 points, a decline of 0.12 per cent.
Out of 171 companies whose shares were traded, prices of 72 entities rose, and those of 63 firms declined.
The top five gainers were Model Restaurants by 5 per cent, United Group Holdings by 5 per cent, Specialised Investment Compounds by 4.90 per cent, International for Medical Investment by 4.88 per cent, and Comprehensive Multiple Project by 4.88 per cent.
The top five losers were Amoun International for Investments by 5 per cent, Union Investment Corporation by 5 per cent, National Steel Industry by 4.96 per cent, Jordan Investment & Tourism Transport(Alfa) by 4.94 per cent, and Middle East Pharma. & Chemical Ind. & Medical Appliances by 4.89 per cent.
