Saudi Arabia’s mechanical seal production plant inaugurated

DAMMAM - The Saudi-German joint venture company, EagleBurgmann Saudi Arabia, inaugurated Tuesday its multi-million riyals modern facility that will produce and manufacture mechanical seals for the oil, gas, petrochemical and industrial sectors.
The facility, located at 1,650 square meter prime location in Aziziyah, Al-Khobar, was jointly opened by officials of Gas Arabian Services and the EagleBurgmann Group, the joint venture partners. It will be staffed with highly trained technicians, including Saudis, who underwent training program in Germany, under the supervision of the EagleBurgmann Group.
“We are pleased to open and dedicate this facility, which will provide economic value to Saudi Arabia and enrich further the expertise in industrial seal technology,” said Christoph Mosmann, CEO of the Eagle Burgmann.
Abdulrahman K. Al-Dabal, chairman and president of Gas Arabian Services, said the establishment of the facilities attests to the robust confidence of multinational companies to the strength of the Saudi economy.
Present during the inauguration were Faisal Al-Dabal and Aref Al Dabal, ranking officials of Gas Arabian Services, Abdulgader Al Mubarak, managing director EagleBurgmann Saudi Arabia, and other top officials of EagleBurgman, including Dr. Walter Steinbach, chief technical officer.
Mosmann said the new facility will serve as the hub for further sales and production expansion in the Middle East.
“This facility, which has state-of-the-art machineries, will be producing quality products for our growing clientele in the Kingdom and the region,” he said, adding that “a training center on industrial seal technology will be opened.”
