, the first budget carrier in Saudi Arabia, announced today that effective July 2nd 2009 it will fly from Riyadh & Jeddah to Assuit and Sharm Alshaikh in Egypt. Sulaiman Al Hamdan, CEO of Saudi National Air Services (NAS) stated that, "Egypt is an attractive destination for nasairnasair
, especially with the huge Egyptian residence in the Kingdom. He added that Egypt is also in ideal destination for big numbers of Saudi tourists travelling to Egypt through out the year, it is for these reasons that we have added more routes to Egypt. nasairnasair
first started operation to Alexandria - Egypt in 2008 from Riyadh and Jeddah with overwhelming response from both Saudi and Egyptian travelers." Two inauguration events took place for this occasion, the first one at King AbdulAziz International Airport in Jeddah and were attended by the Airport Director General and top Airport's officials. At the beginning of the event Mohammed -Al-Rajeh - Sales Director at nasairnasair
stated that the launch of these two destinations to Assiut & Sharm in Egypt came as a response to the need of both Saudi & Egyptians needs to travel between Saudi Arabia & Egypt. He added that the huge respond to the two flights that were clearly shown through the fully booked flights for the next weeks give a strong indication on the right decision made by nasairnasair
. At the end of the event, travelers on 1st flight to Assiut from Jeddah were honored with gifts.
At Assiut Airport, Arrivals were welcomed by top Assiut officials accompanied with nasairnasair
official. Later, a reception party was organized by nasairnasair
and attended by Assiut Governor, Assistant Minister of Interior, Director General of Assiut Airport and top nasairnasair

happiness to launch these two routes to Egypt. Al-Rajeh confirmed that nasairnasair
main objective is to strengthen the ties and relationship between Saudi Arabia and its surrounding Arabian communities. He concluded that Assiut & Sharm routes are an addition to Alexandria route launched one year ago. At the end of the event, all officials participated in cutting the inauguration cake.

new seasonal route to Sharm ElSheikh consists of 3 flights weekly from both Riyadh & Jeddah using nasairnasair
youngest 13 aircraft fleet in the region. Nasair is currently flying to 13 domestic destination in Saudi Arabia and 10 international destinations including Alexandria, Assiut, Sharm ElSheikh, Amman, Beirut, Damascus, Latakia, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Kuwait.
