Audi S5 arrives in Kuwait

Company, announces the arrival of the new Audi S5 - the high powered version of the A5 grand touring coupe. Customers in Kuwait have eagerly awaited the arrival of the S5 after rave reviews of the A5 when it was first introduced last summer.Audi Kuwait once again provides drivers with yet another exhilarating driving experience with the arrival of the S5, which offers: the latest generation of eight-cylinder engine that delivers 260 kW (354 bhp) and a maximum torque of 440 Nm that propels the Audi S5 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds. With its quattro permanent four-wheel drive, the six-speed S tronic gearbox, the S sports suspension for extremely dynamic handling, and its heavy-duty brakes, the Audi S5 is well equipped to compete among high-performance sports cars and make the occasional outing onto the race track.
The two-door four-seater convinces with the beauty of the A5 design, but adds ruggedness through sport elements on the interior and exterior. Despite its bite, the S5 maintains the character of a spacious grand touring sports car with four full-size seats, a generous luggage compartment and a wide range of luxury-class comfort features.
With the introduction of the S5, Audi Kuwait is now offering customers a choice of 3 engines in this range: the A5 with a 211 bhp four-cylinder 2.0 liter turbo and a 265 bhp six-cylinder 3.2 liter; as well as the eight-cylinder 4.2 liter with a mighty 354 bhp on the Audi S5.

AUDI AG's commitment to the region was confirmed through the foundation of its fully owned subsidiary in 2005: Audi Middle East. Sales in the Middle East rose by 21.2 percent to 7,732 cars in 2008 (2007: 6,380). The current Middle East model range comprises the A3 Sportback and A4, the A5, A6, S6 and RS 6, the TT Coupe and Roadster, the A8, S8, the Q5, Q7 and the R8.
