in cooperation with Al Aswaq Al Arabiya of Al Arabiya News Channel launched the first e-portal dedicated to Islamic economics. The new e-portal features the largest database of Islamic financial companies and institutions that provide sharia compliant services and products, in addition to fatwas related to Islamic financial transactions, products, updates on Islamic financing, and profiles of leaders of this sector which is gaining much more popularity these days worldwide as a safe heaven having regard to the global financial crisis.

, H.E. Saeed Al Hamez, Senior Executive Director, Banking Supervision & Examination Department, Central Bank of U.A.E., H. E. Ibrahim Obaid Al Zaabi, Director of Securities and Commodities Authority, H. E. Khalid Al Khazraji and other governors of regional and international central banks in addition to leading figures from all over the world.

expressed his pleasure over the contents of the e-portal that shed light on different aspects of Islamic economics and provide updates on issues, news, fatwas, services, products of Islamic financing as well as the largest database which will serve as a guide of Islamic economics related to any country in the world. H. E. Al Suwaidi hailed efforts that led to the launch of this e-portal that provides visitors of the website www.myislamicfinance.com free access to an overview of any institution operating in this sector anywhere in the world, in addition to financial systems and contact details of such institutions.
"The launch of this portal came as a result of cooperation with Al Aswaq Al Arabiya of Al Arabiya News Channel," Mohammed Ali Mosabeh Al Neaimi said, "The latest technologies play a vital role in modern lifestyles as they enable users to use the benefits of the internet, to keep informed of Islamic finance services and products and to raise awareness of various issues related to Islamic financing in addition to a full coverage of other aspects of Islamic finances." Said Al Neaimi.
Al Neaimi indicated those matters and issues found on the e-portal such as fatwas related to sale and purchase transactions, halal and haram issues as well as the latest developments with regard to the application of the provisions of sharia in Islamic banking and financing based on knowledge and experience made available by Sharia scholars and experts. Al Neaimi stated that a visitor will have access to wide range of terms and concepts of Islamic economics currently in use along with profiles of the most reputed and most influential individuals from the banking and finance sector; Al Neaimi added that this all-inclusive e-portal will benefit millions of Muslims around the globe.
