Capital Street Partners launches a unique online platform to buy or sell businesses |
|
The portal, www.CapitalStreet.net will provide access to a global list of entrepreneurs who are interested in businesses in the UAECapital Street Partners, a leading provider of advisory services to small and medium-sized businesses (SME's) in the UAE, today announced the launch of www.CapitalStreet.net. The innovative web platform brings together buyers and sellers of businesses in the UAE.
CapitalStreet.net allows sellers to confidentially market their businesses to a proprietary database of global buyers who have expressed interest in buying UAE based businesses. At the same time, the portal offers buyers a single source of acquisition opportunities along with the necessary financial information they need to make an informed decision.
Announcing the launch of CapitalStreet.net, Mr. Pritvi Rajkumar, Director, Capital Street Partners, said, "In the current market environment, buying a local business is among the best investments one can make. Buyers immediately receive a return on investment from the business' existing income. In addition they can improve the business' growth prospects by leveraging customer relationships, logistical platforms and proven managers who can increase revenue while reducing overhead costs."
Capital Street Partners also provides a qualified consultant in the UAE to develop offering materials, screen buyers, and close the transaction. Commenting on the new web platform, Mr. Steve McIntire, Managing Director, Capital Street Partners, said, "With the web platform, we are able to identify entrepreneurial buyers throughout the world interested in UAE companies. We have historically advised larger companies on larger M&A or fundraising transactions, so we augment the web platform with our value-added advisory services--providing the right information at the right time to the right people is important to a successful transaction."
He further added, "Our proprietary database of qualified buyers grows daily. When a seller comes to us, we can contact a large group of buyers to solicit interest in his business without disclosing its name. The competitive nature of this process helps the seller achieve their best outcome in a sale. We believe that this approach with the CapitalStreet.net platform is the best way to buy or sell a business in the UAE."
Capital Street Partners' services help sellers avoid some common pitfalls. Failing to prepare financial and other business information in a well-written executive summary is a common mistake. At the same time, providing too much information to the wrong people can harm the business and distract its owners. Not everyone who expresses interest is both willing and able to follow through on a transaction. Capital Street balances these concerns with a customized sale process around the type of business and the owner's unique circumstances.
