The largest marketing campaign undertaken by The Ministry of TourismMinistry of Tourism
and Oman AirOman Air
to promote Oman as a Tourist Destination in AGCC is all set to get a further boost. Various promotion activities at major shopping malls across AGCC countries have been initiated to reach out to discerning travellers. At key malls across the GCC, customers will be able to watch video presentations about Oman as a unique tourist destination as well as pick up literature about Oman's Short Breaks. Oman AirOman Air
's General Manager Worldwide Sales - Abdulrazaq Alraisi said "We have seen a steady increase of visitors from the GCC and decided we would showcase a taste of Oman to a larger audience. Our research has shown that more people are taking short breaks to exotic destinations and we are only a short flight away from other GCC countries and with our mountains meeting the sea we offer unique experiences to all types of tourists."
The Mall Promotions will be held on the following venues as follows:
April 3 and 4 at Mall of Emirates, Dubai.
April 10 and 11 at City Centre Deira Dubai.
April 17 at Marina Mall Abu Dhabi.
April 30. & May 1 at City Centre Doha.
May 7 and 8 at City Centre Bahrain.

initiated their largest ever marketing campaign in the GCC on February 22, 2009 under the banner "Partnership Oman". This concept is heavily supported by Oman's major hotels and resorts.
