Honda Launches All New Jazz 2009 in Oman
- Text size
Muscat - "I have to say that the All New Jazz 2009 sets a new benchmark in this highly competitive segment," said Paul Turner, Honda Oman National Sales Manager, speaking at the launch of the New Jazz at the Wattaya Showroom in Oman. "It's a great car for today's more urban lifestyle and the exceptional response we've had to the New Jazz shows that Honda has got it just right."
Turner went on to outline the many special features of the New Jazz 2009, emphasising its dynamic performance: "I cannot overstate the fantastic performance of the New Jazz," commented Turner. "It's made possible by its new 1.5L i-VTEC engine and what a difference that makes!"
Hamed Al Balushi, of the Honda Wattaya sales team added: "The remarkable performance that Paul mentioned is certainly something that draws people to the New Jazz but this car also combines fantastic value with great practicality." Clearly enthusiastic about the new vehicle Al Balushi went on to say: "And Hondas do extremely well on the resale market. That's something people keep a keen eye on these days and is increasingly a factor in purchase decisions. People aren't just buying the Jazz because it's an international award winner, they know they're getting quality. In today's market that's one thing people don't want to compromise on. And at Honda our commitment to quality extends to After Sales Service too. With this in mind we're extending our network across the sultanate to make sure as many people as possible have access to top class Honda service and repairs."
Mohammed Iqbal Shaikh, Honda Salalah Branch Manager, where the very first New Jazz 2009 was sold on the day it arrived in the showroom commented: "I have to say that when I took this car out for a test drive what struck me most was that it's such fun to drive and so user-friendly. I can't think of another car in its class that can match that. On top of that, despite the power of the engine it's very fuel efficient."
The National Sales Manager agreed: "Fuel efficiency is very important in today's market. We know that drivers appreciate this from the point of view of economy but also there are environmental concerns too. Honda is a company that's proud of its environmental credentials. We've been at the forefront of environmental and energy technologies for decades so fuel efficiency is something that really matters to us and it's something that's a consideration right across our model line-up."
Honda sales executive Majda Al Hinai was particularly taken with the styling of the New Jazz 2009: "The New Jazz is a fantastic drive and incredibly spacious when you get in and there's lots of storage but it was the styling was what got my attention, particularly the new panoramic sunroof. I took the Jazz for a drive on quite a hot day so I was delighted to see that the power sun shield can be opened and closed at the touch of a switch, making sure you have a comfortable cabin all year round." The sales executive also highlighted safety as something that was also a strong point of the New Jazz: "For me safety features in a car are very important and I was delighted to see that the New Jazz 2009 is exceptionally well-equipped in this respect. There are dual front airbags and it has ABS and Electronic Brake Force distribution systems too. Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure has been incorporated too. In fact, ACE is being rolled out across the Honda range."
