Oman property firm opens registration for $2.5bn residential project

Doha: The Wave MuscatThe Wave MuscatLoading..., Oman's premier freehold integrated tourism development project, yesterday announced that registrations were now open for the purchase of apartments in the Lasail East and West and Lasail Marina sectors, as well as beach park villas in Sector 5.

Abdullah Khamis Al Shidi, Deputy CEO of The Wave, held a presentation on the project at Al Sharq Village and SPA for media persons here yesterday and said a marketing campaign had been launched here as well. More than 25 percent of The Wave property had already been sold and a large number of buyers were from the UK and India, he added.

Nick Smith, CEO, The Wave MuscatThe Wave MuscatLoading..., said in a statement: "The registration for this sales launch at The Wave MuscatThe Wave MuscatLoading..., has now commenced. The process for our overseas customers to choose their home at our development has been made very easy and provides them with an equal opportunity to purchase a home at Oman's premier freehold development."

Purchasers can register to buy a maximum of three properties this time, one villa and two apartments," he added.

The Wave MuscatThe Wave MuscatLoading..., is a $2.5bn mixed use project built over an area of 2.2 million sq metres along six kilometers of natural beach in Muscat. It will offer over 4,000 residential units (apartments, villas and town houses), a signature Greg Norman 18 holes Links Golf Course, a 300 berth marina, three luxury 5-star hotels, in addition to retail outlets and restaurants.

Apartments are situated within the vibrant ambience of the charming Marina Village area, in the heart of the community, which promises to be the liveliest and most happening area at The Wave MuscatThe Wave MuscatLoading.... The homes in this locality enjoy marina and sea views and are surrounded by an abundance of shops and restaurants offering an alfresco dining experience.

Villas in Sector 5 and Beach Park Villas, as well as apartments in the Lasail East and West and Lasail Marina neighborhood are all located within walking distance from the natural each at The Wave, Muscat. They have generous patio spaces and stylish finishes. Apartments have designated underground parking and a private landscaped courtyard, said Al Shidi during his presentation.

Overseas customers can register by submitting scanned identification documentation and transfer the registration deposit to The Wave MuscatThe Wave MuscatLoading..., holding account. Overseas customers, or an authorised representative, must be present to complete the purchase at the selection time. Those interested can register at The Wave MuscatThe Wave MuscatLoading... Sales Centre which will be open from l0am to 6pm, 7 days a week until November 28.
