Company exceeds sales expectation on Day 1 Jacky's ElectronicsJacky's Electronics
, the UAE's number one multi-brand electronics retailer, has given away 33 Acer Aspire One Netbooks during the first day of Gitex Shopper and Consumer Electronics Show 2008. According to Jimmy Patel, General Manager, Jacky's ElectronicsJacky's Electronics, the company has experienced massive reception on Day 1 of Gitex Shoppers. "We have exceeded our sales expectations and based on our indicators, we will definitely surpass last year's sales figures," he said.
The only retailer present in all three halls of Airport Expo Dubai, Jacky's ElectronicsJacky's Electronics' shoppers will take home one of three Acer Aspire One Netbooks every hour in the remaining days of Gitex Shopper. Additionally, 11 Acer Ferrari notebooks will be given away to lucky customers across all JackyJacky's outlets until 24 October 2008.
William Rosario, a nurse and has been in Dubai for three years, is one of the lucky winners of Acer Aspire One, said: "I always shop at Jacky's ElectronicsJacky's Electronics, and I look forward every Gitex for the company's exciting raffle draws. This year, I have bought an N81 Nokia mobile. I didn't expect to win but is very happy to get the Acer Aspire One netbook."
"I always frequented JackyJacky's outlet at the Mall of the Emirates, and have even bought there my Sony PlayStation 2. During this event, I bought two laptops from JackyJacky's and got a bonus of Acer Aspire One Netbook. JackyJacky's always has exciting promotions during Gitex," said Omar Edfel Cloma, an internal sales manager at CST Industries.
Patel added: "Acer Aspire One Netbook is one of the new and exciting products this year. We want to promote and create maximum winners hence 219 netbooks are being raffled during Gitex. With its small size, the Acer Aspire One Netbook is an ultra lightweight and lean function subnotebook optimised for Internet access and core computing functions. Most Netbooks use a special Intel processor called the Atom which has been designed to optimise Internet access and extend battery life by being more energy efficient."
