Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh Receives Prince Alwaleed in Cairo & Extends Invitation to HRH to Invest in Yemen

on Thursday 2nd October at the Four Seasons hotel in Cairo. During the meeting, the Yemeni President and Prince AlwaleedPrince Alwaleed
discussed the strong friendship between their respective countries. The President commended the Prince on his global and regional investments and invited him to invest in Yemen. HRHHRH
's investment in Yemen in the hotel sector includes the Movenpick Sana'a, the best hotel in the city.Moreover, President Saleh thanked HRHHRH
for his kind and generous humanitarian efforts towards rebuilding the Al-Dhafir village and the two further discussed the progress being made in the construction of the housing project. HRHHRH
expressed his satisfaction at the progress being made in this regard. The rockslide disaster, which struck the village in early 2006, took many lives and destroyed at least 30 homes. HRHHRH
's prompt and brotherly efforts depict the strong ties between the two countries and their people. Each housing project will be 160 square meters, with two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a surrounding garden. The total cost of the 100 housing units is SR23 million.
The meeting concluded as the two bid each other farewell and HRHHRH
sent a message of cordial regards to the people of Yemen.
