Kuwait: Prime Minister meets with MPs |

KUWIAT: The Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah on Tuesday held a meeting with 16 MPs in his office for discussions on the government's performance.
MP Saleh Al-Mullah told the premier that the members of the Parliamentary Committee for Youth and Sports are wary of amending certain sports laws, especially since there are some officials in the sport sector who wish to create a confrontation between the legislative and executive authorities.
Fellow MP Abdullatif Al-Ameeri praised the Prime Minister's support for cooperation between the two authorities, but criticized certain unnamed government officials for appointing unqualified individuals in sensitive positions whilst depriving the qualified ones from these posts.
During the meeting, Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad also instructed MP Mohammad Al-Kandari to submit a public services development plan along with a flexible program that can be implemented to contributing to developing basic services like health and education, reported al-Qabas.
