Top Layer Networks Releases Network Security Analyzer V5.0; Enables Faster Customer Response to Security Incidents

NSA 5.0 Reduces Time to Security Incident Response through Improved Dashboards and Enhanced Reporting Capabilities
Westborough, Mass. - April 13, 2008 - Top Layer Networks, a global leader for high performance intrusion prevention solutions, announced the availability of its Network Security Analyzer (NSA) v5.0. Used in conjunction with Top Layer's IPS 5500, NSA v5.0 includes enhanced dashboards, new triple-query reports, and easier installation to help companies strengthen their network security infrastructure.
Top Layer's Network Security Analyzer provides security event management, real-time alerting, and flexible dashboarding and reporting for users of the Top Layer IPS 5500 product family. The Network Security Analyzer evaluates and logs security events generated by an organization's IPS 5500 devices and provides a comprehensive assessment of the enterprise network, detailing threats that originate from inside and outside of the network.

Broad range of new IPS 5500 optimized dashboards allow for customization according to complexity level, including Default, Basic, Intermediate, Advanced and Template.
New Top Layer-specific reports allow multiple queries for tri-value data points (ex. attacks by event by victim)
Added flexibility includes the choice of exporting reports in HTML, PDF, Excel, or Word, as well as the inclusion of graphs in every report.
