The sponsorship highlights Al-KhaleejiahAl-Khaleejiah's leading role in the Middle East media industry and its commitment to quality and best practice across the industry.

This year is expected to be a busy year for advertisers with the European Football Championships in June and the Beijing Olympics in August, Mr. Asiri added. "In 2006, ad sales in Arriyadiah, the first sports daily in Saudi Arabia, increased year on year by 122 per cent over the World Cup period. We are already seeing a significant increase in bookings as brands try to replicate the success of their 06 campaigns. "
