In 2005 and in line with His Majesty's directives, Jordan established a dedicated call center initiative to facilitate the development of this industry and align the investment environment with competitors.

He added, "Jordan offers all the right ingredients for a successful and vibrant outsourcing industry, such as our capable workforce at competitive cost as well as the country's robust technology infrastructure". He also added that "this can only be achieved through an effective public-private partnership that leverages each sector's strengths and areas of influence to ensure economic sustainability."

Sabri Tabbaa, int@j's CEO commented, "int@j works closely with the MOICT to achieve the objectives of the ICT National strategy 2007-2011. We are working diligently on implementing a Research and Development (R&D) fund that will be supported by deducting a tax from telecommunication companies to support startups and incubated projects."

KETAB Technologies, which is fully supported by int@j at Gitex, is a Jordanian startup company named one of the five most promising high technology startup companies according to the Arab Science and Technology Foundation (ASTF), the Arab Business Challenge and the MIT business plan competition. int@j's particular interest in Ketab stems in its achieving the 1st place in the contest held by iPark, Jordan's technology incubator.
