Middle East, 15 May 2007: Today, the third Digital Consumer Channel Middle East and North Africa (DCC MENA) opened its doors to key IT vendors and retailers around the region at Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort, Fujeirah. DCC MENA, positioned as the defining channel event for the IT retail sector in the region, will run from 15th to 17th May 2007 (inclusive). The event has been completely sold out and sees an increase of over 25 percent in participation to over 300 participants representing 120 retailers and 50 international vendors and their distribution partners.

"We have registered around 50 key vendors including over 15 newcomers to the event," said Farouk Hemraj, CEO and co-founder of DISTREE Events. "DCC MENA has proved in the course of the past years to have become a vital platform for vendors to meet potential and existing retail partners across the region. Its unique format allows key decision makers at both levels to have quality meetings with potential business partners across a wide region that would normally incur additional travel costs and time."

This year's event is supported by Lexmark and Logitech as Platinum sponsors, Toshiba, Panasonic, and Genius as Gold sponsors and Techgear and i-mate as Silver sponsors.
