Over 700 companies to exhibit at Arabplast, Tekno/Tube Arabia 2007

Tube Arabia, dedicated event on Tubes & Pipes industry will be organized for the first time, under main event - Tekno


Dubai: More than 700 companies, featuring some of the latest world-class technology will impress visitors to Arabplast 2007, the Middle East's leading international plastic and rubber trade exhibition and Tekno/Tube Arabia a leading trade fair for industrial machinery, metalworking, machine tools, tubes and pipes exhibitions run concurrently from January 13 to 16 2007 at the Dubai International Exhibition CentreDubai International Exhibition CentreLoading.... Spread across seven halls, with a combined floor space of nearly 27,000 sqm, the exhibitions will give visitors and exhibitors a convenient opportunity to view and inspect innovative technology under one roof. This year the biennial exhibition which has attracted exhibitors from over 35 countries.

Messe Dusseldorf Gmbh, one of the leading trade fair organizers in Germany, and organizer of K', the world's number one plastic show, has once again teamed up with Al Fajer for these events.

Among the new elements of the upcoming Arabplast are the Arabplast summit which will raise the profile and value of participation for exhibitors and visitors. Exhibitors will also able to extend important messages to technical, financial, corporate, marketing and purchasing personnel.

EUROMAP, the committee of the national associations of machinery manufacturers for the plastics and rubber industries in Europe, and other premier plastics associations from India, Korea, Turkey, Egypt, have once again endorsed their support to Arabplast 2007.

"The exhibitions will offer trade visitors access to a wide spectrum of technological innovations in the plastics, packaging, rubber, chemical and polymer and petrochemical, machinery, tubes and pipes industries," said Satish Khanna, General Manager of Al Fajer Information & ServicesAl Fajer Information & ServicesLoading..., the organisers. Arabplast and Tekno/Tube have grown to be the most prestigious exhibitions for the target sectors in the Middle East and Africa.

"The events will enable visitors to compare the most comprehensive range of innovations from leading suppliers who will be exhibiting at the event. Next time we will occupy eight halls at the DIEC as there has been a lot of growth and interest by exbitors in the events," Mr. Khanna said.

With an increase of 35 percent (17,500sqm) in the floor space booked in comparison with 2005, Arabplast retains its popularity with regional companies in the rubber and plastics sector. Among the participating companies for Arabplast 2007 are: Saudi Basic Industry Corporation (SABIC), Clariant, Borouge, Qatar Petrochemicals Company (QAPCO), Exxon Mobil Chemicals, Reliance, Bayer, Astra Polymers, Clariant, National Petrochemicals Co of Iran and Enerplastics.

Tekno/Tube Arabia will offer a platform for manufacturing companies to tap the growing Middle East market. Arabian Gulf countries have seen an increase in demand for industrial machinery, metalwork, tubes, pipe machinery and related technology. Tekno/Tube has partnered with International Tube Association, the global industry's largest membership organization for tube and pipe engineers, to assist in widening the scope of participation.

Over 250 companies will be represented under Tekno/Tube Arabia. Major companies from Germany, Italy, India, Russia, Czech Republic, besides United Arab Emirates will be exhibited at this show. The official pavilion from Germany, supported by German Ministry of Economics will be represented for the first time at Tekno 2007.

The shows will open from 11.30am to 7.30 pm Entry is free and open to trade and professional business visitors only.
