Khalifa Fund finances 21 Agric projects

Executive Director, Dr. Ahmed Khalil Al-Mutawwa, said his outfit had effectively contributed in resolving the problem of funding agriculture-related projects, adding that the Khalifa FundKhalifa Fund
had so far funded 21 projects at a total cost of AED26.4 million."In spite of the challenges in the area of investment in the agriculture sector due to climate problems and scarcity of rain water in the country, we were able to achieve a lot, deriving inspirations from the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who succeeded in making the greatest agriculture achievement by expanding the green areas of the UAE, a country overwhelmed by desert sands," Al-Mutawwa said, in an address read on his behalf by the Director of Training and Development of the Khalifa FundKhalifa Fund
