Substantial interest in highest skyscraper project in Kuwait |

KUWAIT, Jan 6 (KUNA) -- Promotion and leasing of plots in Al-Hamra skyscraper, Kuwait's highest building, is due this year, an executive said on Tuesday.
Khaled Al-Othman, the deputy chairman of the board and the executive manager of Al-Hamra Real-Estate Co.Al-Hamra Real-Estate Co.
, said in a press release that the venture whose construction would end in the last quarter of next year, has drawn substantial interest by local and intenational companies and institutions.
Up till now, 53 floors have been built at a height of 253 meters, he said, indicating that basic construction of the five-storey parking lot has been completed. Up to 1,200 workers are involved in the construction work.
