Land transactions worth Dh2.26b handled last week

Dubai: The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dh2.26 billion, of which sales exceeded Dh1.36 billion, according to the Dubai Land DepartmentDubai Land Department
.
The total value of mortgages during the period was Dh899.51 million.
A total of 37 sale transactions were registered with the department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Emirates Hills Third that was sold for Dh16 million.
The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Naif acquired for the sum of Dhs10 million and another in Al Ruwayyah for Dh9.375 million.
The Palm Jumeirah area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 20 transactions. Emirates Hills Third followed it with 5 sale transactions.
During the period, Palm Jumeirah recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dh80.75 million, followed by the Emirates Hills Third area, Dh32.1 million, and Ranches area, Dh10.26 million.
The biggest area sold was the 32,050 sq ft in the Al Ruwayyah area, which went for Dh9.38 million.
A 18,351 sq ft plot in the Emirates Hills Third Area was acquired for Dh2.2 million, while 18,351 sq ft of Emirates Hills Third was disposed of for Dh16 million.
