BAHRAIN has emerged as a rapidly growing market for the General Motors and GM would continue to work closely with its partners in the Kingdom for enhancing the client base, Graham Miller, head of Service Parts Excellence Programme at GM has said.

Miller, who honoured the Managing Director of Mannai Motors Talal Al Mannai with gold rating, at a ceremony held at the Mannai Motors premises said that Mannai Motors' achievement was the result of dedication and commitment of the company.

"This award has been given after a thorough scrutiny of the services offered by Mannai Motors during the past year. We look forward to seeing strong client base for the GM in Bahrain," he said.

The award presentation-cum-Press conference was also addressed by Talal Mannai, Sahand Pouladi, service operations manager Mannai Motors, Shaker Ghazal, after-sales service manager Mannai Motors and Gelen Heller, service parts excellence programme GM Middle East.

"After qualifying for the GM Bronze Award for Services and Parts Excellence in May 2002, then the Silver Award in July 2003, Mannai Motors' promotion to Gold status is an evidence to the high levels of dedication and teamwork," Miller said.

The programme grants all customers 20 per cent discount on all Saab and Opel parts as well as a 30 per cent discount on any labour costs.
