Aces Middle East announces the signing of Nathan Bracken
Dubai, UAE., 13 July, 2009 - Aces Middle East today announced the signing of Australian cricket international Nathan Bracken for all on and off field activities outside of Australia.In his career to date Nathan Bracken has played for Australia, Gloucestershire, New South Wales, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Worcestershire. He made his international debut in 2001 and has since played over 130 international matches for Australia.
Bracken is a vital cog in the Australian ODI and T20 sides with his subtle changes of pace, and ability to bowl under pressure. He was part of the 2003 and 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup winning squads, and in 2008 was ranked Number 1 ODI bowler in the world.
Bracken sees the Middle East region as exciting and significant in the future of sport, he recently played in the Chapal Trophy between Australia and Pakistan, and said of the experience; "The Middle East is quickly becoming a centre for global sport, particularly cricket. The new stadium at Dubai Sports City is one of the best I have ever played in and I am very much looking forward to playing more games there in the future"
