Iran welcomes joint venture with Tunisia

Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki here Wednesday called on Tunisia to make joint investment with Iran in different industrial sectors.

In a meeting with former Tunisian prime minister Hedi Baccouche, Mottaki said that Tehran and Tunis enjoy amicable and growing relations.

He added that the two presidents are determined to expand bilateral political and economic ties.

Mottaki said that the two countries private sectors should play a more active role in recognizing potentials for economic cooperation.

Baccouche, for his part, said that Tunisia is served as a good economic partner for Iran.

He added that his country attaches importance of expansion of all-out ties with Iran.
