Dubai: Tickets for the one-day international series between Pakistan and Australia went on sale at Dubai Sports City 's cricket stadium starting on Thursday.
The sides will open the 25,000 capacity stadium with the first of a five- match, ODI series on April 22. The second game of the series is on April 24 and following three further ODI's in Abu Dhabi, the teams return to DSC for a one-off Twenty20 match on May 7.
"This is a defining moment in the history of Dubai Sports City ," said Macky Dudhia, General Manager, Sports Business of Dubai Sports City . "We are very proud to welcome Pakistan and Australia to Dubai Sports City for the first ever international cricket to be hosted in Dubai.
The Dubai Sports City cricket stadium has been designed to provide a world class setting and is ideally suited to act as a neutral venue for world cricket.
Organisers are urging fans to purchase their tickets early, with a sell-out expected for the much-anticipated opening game at the new venue. Tickets are available at www.boxofficeme.com.
