Board to oversee all cricket activities

Dubai: Dubai Sports City has announced the formation of a four-man Cricket Advisory Board to oversee all cricketing activity and assist in promoting the venue around the world.
The panel will be chaired by former ICC president, Ehsan Mani and will include another former ICC president, Malcolm Gray. Chairman of the ICC Anti-Corruption and Security Unit, Lord Paul Condon, and former West Indies captain and ICC Cricket Committee Chairman, Clive Lloyd, are also on the board.
DSC chief executive U. Balasubramaniam will join the board as a co-opted member, while Maqbul Dudhia, General Manager-Sports Business at DSC , will be the board secretary.
Khalid Al Zarouni, the DSC president, said: "The board members bring a wealth of experience which will provide invaluable insight and guidance to the management team, and help establish DSC as a prime location for international cricket events and training."
