Abstract
 
Morocco's cellular subscribers grew by 32.4% in 2005: A record in the absolute number of subscriber additions. Maroc Telecom and Médi Telecom's subscribers' bases increased by 30.6% and 35.9% respectively. Maroc Telecom added 1.93 million subscribers, constituting 63.9% of the total subscriber additions, and maintained a leading share of prepaid and postpaid subscriber additions. Driven by this subscriber growth, cellular revenues grew by 26.48% to reach 1,812 million US$.
