In its cement sector report, Global issues an OVERWEIGHT recommendation on Oman’s cement sector and a MARKETWEIGHT recommendation on the other GCC countries’ cement sector. Global expects the sector’s profitability to show a decline in 2009, mainly because of the drop in realization prices, the expected decline in utilization rates and the majority of project being put on hold.
