Oman Royal Court Affairs plans to build the Royal Opera House in Muscat in Oman. The project will cover an area of 80,000 sq.m and will include a 1,100-seat auditorium, a small theater, restaurants, a luxury Souk, car park and stores. The opera house will be the second of its kind in the Middle East region serving as a centre of global cultural engagement. WATG is the architect, Davis Langdon is the PMC, Cowi is the structural engineer consultant and Theatre Projects Consultants (TPC) is the concept designs consultant. |
