Ilyas and Mustafa Galadari GroupIlyas and Mustafa Galadari Group plans to build Restless Planet, a dinosaur-themed park, as part of City of Arabia in Dubailand, Dubai. The project will cover a 46,000 sq.m. area and includes 3 components: a theme park, an earth science museum and a planetarium. The exterior will include a 75 m. tall dome and a 46,000 sq.m. building. The park will be linked to other components of City of Arabia via three monorail stations. Content for the Restless Park will be provided by ECA2, Super78, Blur Studio, Impossible Pictures, Yessian and Wild Brain. Natural History Museum is the design consultant and Hill International is the PMC. |

In H2 2010, the project was put on hold. In Q2 2010, construction started. In Q1 2009, the design was completed and construction of the dinosaurs was ongoing by Kokoro. In 2006, Restless Planet content was finalized and the first out of the 109 dinosaurs was delivered. In 2005, the design and build contract was awarded to Jack Rouse Associates. |
