The amines complex will include six different process units. The products include methylamines, ethanolamines, ethoxylates and choline chloride.

Oxiteno technology will be used for the ethanol amine facility, Davy Process technology for the methylamine facility and Balchem Corporation technology for the choline chloride facility.

Financing Source In March 2011, Saudi KayanSaudi KayanLoading... signed a USD 533.3 million murabaha facility agreement with Banque Saudi FransiBanque Saudi FransiLoading... to finance part of the construction costs of the project. The deal would have a maturity of up to 10 years.

In August 2010, Saudi KayanSaudi KayanLoading... announced it secured a seven-year, USD 1.2 billion loan from National Commercial Bank (NCB), to cover part of USD 2.5 billion in cost increases in building the project. The terms of the loan were not revealed by the company.

In May 2007, Saudi KayanSaudi KayanLoading... raised USD 6 billion in loan to part-finance the project. Kayan will get USD 1 billion from the government's Public Investment Fund, while the rest is arranged by Samba Financial Group, Arab Banking Corporation, BNP ParibasBNP ParibasLoading... and HSBCHSBCLoading... Saudi Arabia. The duration of the loan will be 15 years.

In May 2007, Saudi KayanSaudi KayanLoading... offered an initial public offering (IPO) for a 45 % stake in its capital.
