Background

The Sharjah Petroleum Council plans to re-develop the Zora Gas Field in Sharjah, UAE.

The project will include resuming and completing the horizontal drilling of two wells that were originally developed by in 2001and will be divided into three packages: offshore platforms, a 25 Km pipeline and onshore gas processing facilities.

In September 2011, the FEED study was completed.

In Q4 2010, the FEED study contract was awarded to Tripatra and the FEED study started. Tripatra will also carry out conceptual design, detailed engineering and procurement.

In March 2008, the Sharjah Petroleum Council signed an agreement with for the development of the Zora Gas Field.
