| Background |
Saudi Aramco Mobil Refinery Company (Samref)Saudi Aramco Mobil Refinery Company (Samref) plans to undertake Offsites and Utilities work as part of its refinery revamp project for its existing Yanbu oil refinery in Saudi Arabia. This is phase 2 of the project and it includes the construction of a 40,000 bpd distillate hydrotreater, a sulphur recovery unit and handling facilities, a sour water stripper and a hydrogen plant. The upgrade aims to decrease sulfur content in gasoline and diesel to 10 ppm by 2013. ExxonMobilExxonMobil is the technology provider and Feasibility study consultant. WorleyParsonsWorleyParsons is the PMC and FEED study consultant. |

WorleyParsonsWorleyParsons will also be in charge of the overall project management. In August 2008, bids for the FEED study and EPC contracts were submitted. In Q3 2008, the ITB for the FEED study and EPC contracts were issued. |
