In March 2012, Statoil withdrew from the consortium and sold its shares to LukoilLukoil and Jindal Saw was awarded the supply contract. On 2 November 2011, the bids for the EPC contract were submitted. However the company names were not disclosed. On 20 September 2011, the ITB for the EPC contract was re-issued. In Q3 2011, LukoilLukoil decided to re-tender the EPC contract due to changes in the scope of work. On 30 March 2011, technical and commercial bids for the EPC contract were submitted (delayed from December 2010). In September 2010, the ITB for the EPC contract was issued. On 31 January 2010, LukoilLukoil and Statoil signed the development and production service contract with the Iraqi Government for the implementation of the project. The contract is valid for 20 years with an opportunity of extension for 5 years. |
