| Background |
The Abu Dhabi Future Energy CompanyAbu Dhabi Future Energy Company (ADFEC), also known as Masdar, plans to develop Masdar Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) in Abu Dhabi, between Khalifa City and Abu Dhabi International Airport.
MIST will cover an area over 46,000 sq.m. and will include the construction of an institute, research and laboratory facilities, residential units, retail outlets, and related facilities.
The project will be implemented in 2 phases: phases 1A and 1B and will include over 200 apartments for students and laboratories.
RW ArmstrongRW Armstrong is the architect, Faithful and Gould is the cost consultant, AKT is the structural engineering consultant, Parsons BrinckerhoffParsons Brinckerhoff is the PMC, Foster and PartnersFoster and Partners is the master plan consultant and Mott Macdonald is the infrastructure consultant. |
