ALDAR PropertiesALDAR Properties plans to re-develop Abu Dhabi's old Souq. The re-development will be known as Central Market. The Central Market will have a total built up area of 490,000 sq.m. and will consist of 3 towers (commercial, residential and hospitality), an Arabian Souq, retail and food outlets, hotels and a sky park. The Central Market will be developed in 3 phases. Phase 1 includes the Arabian Souk, phase 2 includes the Emporium Mall and Trust tower phase 3 includes the Domain residential tower and 2 hotels. EC Harris is the PMC and Foster and PartnersFoster and Partners is the design consultant. |
