| Background |
International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC)International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) plans to construct a crude oil pipeline project from Habshan in Abu Dhabi to Fujairah. The project aims at reducing the reliance on oil terminals in the gulf and to decreasing shipping congestion through the strait of Hurmouz. The pipeline has a capacity of 1.5 million bpd and will serve the proposed Fujairah refinery. The project will be implemented on a fast track basis. ADCOADCO will become the operator once the project is completed. WorleyParsonsWorleyParsons is the FEED study consultant. ILF Consulting Engineers (ILF)ILF Consulting Engineers (ILF) is the PMC. |
