Tameer HoldingTameer Holding plans to develop Al Salam City, a real estate development located along the Emirates Road in Umm Al Quwain, northern UAE. Al Salam City will cover a 20.5 million sq. m. area and will include residential units, commercial towers, retail outlets, dining facilities, schools, hotels, mosques, cinemas, sports facilities, and a golf course. The development will be executed in 3 phases. Phase 1 includes the infrastructure works and the construction of the downtown area, which consists of a 50-floor hotel, 20 residential and commercial towers, and residential districts. The first residential district will comprise 1,000 villas and the second will comprise 200 buildings. Details of phases 2 and 3 have not been revealed yet. Upon completion, Al Salam City will accommodate 500,000 residents. Surbana is the master planner and urban designer, Diyar ConsultantsDiyar Consultants is the architect for the villas and buildings of phase 1, and Associated Construction and Engineers (ACEACE ) International is the infrastructure consultant. |
