Background Talaat Moustafa GroupTalaat Moustafa GroupLoading... (TMG) plans to build Al Rehab City, a community development located northeast of New Cairo.

The project will cover a total land area of 10 million sq.m., and a built up area of 4 million sq.m. which will include residential facilities of an area of 3.6 million sq.m.(5 storey buildings, 1,500 apartments and 600 villas with 50 different designs) as well as schools, mosques, sports clubs, shopping malls, food courts, cafes, trade zones and office buildings.

Al Rehab City will be developed in 10 phases, each built on 1 million sq.m. land area and comprising the construction of villas, apartments, mosques, and other facilities.

Upon completion, the project will accommodate 200,000 residents.

Dar Al Handasah is the master plan and infrastructure design consultant.

Latest Events In April 2012, the construction of phases 7, 8, 9 and 10 was still ongoing by Alexandria Construction Company.

In H1 2012, the construction of phases 8 and 9 is expected to be completed.

In Q3 2013, the construction of phase10 is expected to be completed.

In 2015, the project (including phase 7) is expected to be completed.
Previous Events In the end of December 2011, the construction of phase 7 started.

In 2009, phases 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 were completed.

In August 2007, the construction of Al Rehab Mall 2 was completed.

In 2006, the project was launched.
