On 19 January 2011, the BOO Developer contract was officially signed between ADNOCADNOC and Occidental Petroleum CorporationOccidental Petroleum Corporation . On 1 November 2010, ADNOCADNOC shortlisted ExxonMobilExxonMobil , Royal Dutch ShellRoyal Dutch Shell and Occidental Petroleum for the developer BOO contract. In August 2010, engineering work started. On 21 June 2010, the PMC contract overseeing the overall program was awarded to Fluor CorporationFluor Corporation . On 2 May 2010, the EPC contract was awarded to SaipemSaipem . In April 2010, ConocoPhillipsConocoPhillips officially announced its withdrawal from the project JV. On 21 March 2010, commercial bids for the EPC contract were submitted (delayed from 3 March 2010). On 3 November 2009, technical bids for the EPC contract were submitted (delayed from 10 September 2009). In the end of August 2009, contractors submitted their EOI for the PMC contract overseeing the overall project. In May 2009, the ITB for the EPC contract was issued. In March 2009, the FEED study was completed. |
