Background Al Areen Holding CompanyAl Areen Holding CompanyLoading... (AAHC) plans to develop Al Areen Development, a community development close to the Bahrain International Circuit, southern Bahrain.

The project includes: Al Areen Palace & Spa, The “”Lost Paradise of Dilmun” Water Park, Sarab Al Areen, Domina Prestige - Al Areen, Al Waha Resort, Downtown Al Areen, Al Areen Medical Centre, Oryx Hills, Sunset Hills, Al Areen Homes, and a number of residential villages, entertainment and recreational facilities.

The project will be implemented in 2 phases. Phase 1 include: Banyan Tree Desert Spa & Resort and "The Last Paradise of Dilmun" Water Park and phase 2 includes all the pther developments.

Infrastructure works of Al Areen will be divided into 2 phases. Phase 1 includes development of a road network and phase 2 includes installation of utilities such as drainage, water, and electricity networks.
Latest Events In December 2011, the project was still on hold and no expected date to resume work was yet revealed.

In 2012, Downtown Al Areen development was initially expected to be completed.
Previous Events In June 2011, Oryx Hills development was completed.

In December 2010, Sunset Hills put on hold.

In early Q2 2010, phase 2 was completed (delayed from December 2009).

In 2009, Sarab Al Areen, Al Areen Downntown and Al Areen Medical Centre was put on hold due to financial issues.

In Q1 2009, the construction of the infrastructure facilities was completed.

In Q3 2007, "Last Paradise of Dilmun" Water Park was completed.

In April 2007, Bayan Tree Al Areen was completed.
Scope of Work Infrastructure works including roads, electricity, telecommunication network, water system, landscaping, and other related services.
