Al Areen Holding CompanyAl Areen Holding Company (AAHC) plans to develop Al Areen Development, a community development close to the Bahrain International Circuit, southern Bahrain.
The project includes: Al Areen Palace & Spa, The “”Lost Paradise of Dilmun” Water Park, Sarab Al Areen, Domina Prestige - Al Areen, Al Waha Resort, Downtown Al Areen, Al Areen Medical Centre, Oryx Hills, Sunset Hills, Al Areen Homes, and a number of residential villages, entertainment and recreational facilities.
The project will be implemented in 2 phases. Phase 1 include: Banyan Tree Desert Spa & Resort and "The Last Paradise of Dilmun" Water Park and phase 2 includes all the pther developments.
Infrastructure works of Al Areen will be divided into 2 phases. Phase 1 includes development of a road network and phase 2 includes installation of utilities such as drainage, water, and electricity networks. |

In December 2011, the project was still on hold and no expected date to resume work was yet revealed.
In 2012, Downtown Al Areen development was initially expected to be completed. |
